摘要:This volume contains some of the papers presented at the International Workshop on Climate Varia¬bilities(IWCV) by about 80 scientists from China,USA,Japan,UK,Belgium,Italy,Russia,etc. The IWCV was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Institute of Atmos¬pheric Physics,the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and held in 13一17 July 1992 in Beijing for exchanging the recent progress on the mechanisms of climate anomalies. This book covers a wide range of important topics on climate variabilities in five aspects:(1) long-term fluctuations of climate: (2) interannual variabil¬ity of climate: (3) intraseasonal variability of climate: (4) possible mechanisms of climate variability: (5) modelling of climate variability.
