摘要：This volume contains some of the papers presented at the International Workshop on Climate Varia¬bilities(IWCV) by about 80 scientists from China，USA，Japan，UK，Belgium，Italy，Russia，etc. The IWCV was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Institute of Atmos¬pheric Physics，the Chinese Academy of Sciences， and held in 13一17 July 1992 in Beijing for exchanging the recent progress on the mechanisms of climate anomalies. This book covers a wide range of important topics on climate variabilities in five aspects:(1) long-term fluctuations of climate: (2) interannual variabil¬ity of climate: (3) intraseasonal variability of climate: (4) possible mechanisms of climate variability: (5) modelling of climate variability.
